On the runners up to the University of Nairobi Innovation Week, the Department of Biology is proposing the first Edition of the Biology Innovation Challenge. A Departmental innovation platform is critical in building a culture of innovation towards sustainability using STEM based training. The main objective is to create a culture of research output sharing, research product innovation and policy influence through student involvement. The Biology innovation challenge intends to create an environment of mentorship, networking and industry exposure.
In the lead-up to the University of Nairobi Innovation Week, the Department of Biology is excited to launch the first-ever Biology Innovation Challenge. This initiative aims to foster a culture of innovation and sustainability through STEM-based training.
Department of Biology will hold a virtual mentorship lecture through it Alumni on 17th May 2024 at 11:00am.
