Pan-African Covid-19 and Food Safety Webinar April 28, 2021

The University of Nairobi, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology in collaboration with Cornell University, Food Science and Technology Platform of Kenya (FoSTeP-K), and experts across the African continent invite you to a webinar dubbed ‘office hour’ as a panel of food safety experts clarifies myths, misconceptions and fears of COVID-19 virus being a possible foodborne disease even though there has been no clear evidence to support this misconception. The current session will also discuss mitigation strategies for the food handling and processing practitioners and the general public. The session is open to industry practitioners, academia, and the general public.
